Operation Nightwatch is proud to partner with Portland Chamber Music for the third annual Spring Concert on Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
At this concert Operation Nightwatch will present the prestigious "Lamplighter of the Year" Award to City Commissioner Nick Fish. This award is given to recognize an individual from the community for making a significant and outstanding contribution that advances the quality of life of those experiencing homelessness in the city of Portland.
Overseeing the Portland Housing Bureau, Commissioner Fish leads projects that help end homelessness by building and preserving of affordable homes and expanding homeownership opportunities.
Operation Nightwatch is a non-sectarian night ministry of hospitality serving Portland's homeless and low-income population.
Portland Chamber Music is the region’s premier non-profit organization that gives local community members affordable access to the beauty of live chamber music. Offering FREE neighborhood concerts and low-cost music lessons on a sliding-scale, PCM strives to bring the relevance and splendor of classical music to local communities.
Proceeds from the concert will support Operation Nightwatch, Portland Chamber Music, and St. Stephen's Episcopal Parish.
